If your chat button does not appear on your web site, there may be several reasons for this. Pleas check the following:
No agents available
- The agent(s) is/are off line.
- The slots of all online agents are full, you can check this in the account configuration.
To explain the availability of agents below an example of four agents.

- Jeroen is not logged in (not active within the last 17 hours).
- Joost is logged in, but his status is off line, so he can't receive chats.
- Kim is logged in and on line but has all chat slots full (2 / 2), so she can't receive any more chats.
- Mark is active, on line and has all slot available, he can receive chats.
Configuration
- The domain of the website is not included in the account configuration of CoBrowser.net . Contact us!
- There are no agents assigned to the domain.
- Due to a time frame configuration in the engagement preset the chat is offline.
- Agents are excluded (or not included) in the engagement preset (Assignment & routing)
Implementation (for web developers)
- There is no monitor script on the site. Learn how to include the site monitor script.
- There is no chat button on the site. Learn how to include a button on your page.
- There is a syntax error in the site monitor script or chat button html code.
